We have a former film director who is trying to establish a Chicago-based music band for a documentary film. We are holding auditions for this band casting call within the next few weeks. We would like to hear from some local Chicago, IL talent who are skilled in both playing in a band as well as acting. Before we start casting other bands, we would like to hold auditions for Chicago, IL bands.
Full bands can audition as well as solo band members looking for a new adventure. Acting experience is not necessary but film and stage experience always helps when auditioning. You must be within the Chicago area for this casting call or be willing to travel to Chicago.

Casting for Multiple Movie Characters
I Made A Movie has been producing & distributing movies for the past 15 years so our casting directors have asked us to help them find a talented and seasoned cast for their next project. We're looking for actors and actresses ages 21-45 (can play the role of a middle-aged adult) for 4 different roles for a Thriller movie. This is a full length feature film, callbacks start in early November. The Director WILL review all ONLINE AUDITION submissions. If selected, you will be asked to audition in the Los Angeles area or Ashland (Southern Oregon).

Three Actors Needed for Scene
Looking for 3 actors to cast in a Columbia College Chicago directing class scene. I'm a graduate film student and I have to do a scene from "Odds Against Tomorrow," a movie that came out in 1959. The story deals with racism and a robbery plan. The scene itself addresses the issues of racism at the time. The location of the movie is NYC.
I have to present the scene twice, once on Nov. 4th and again on Nov. 16th. I would like to rehearse twice before the 1st performance (two 1hr rehearsals) and again twice between performances. Actors would need to be available for BOTH performances. Rehearsals will be scheduled once all actors are cast. The class is at 1pm and call times before performances are at 12:30. You will most likely be released by 1:45pm. Pay is $50 after the whole process. (I'm a student and can't afford much) This is more of a theater type gig but I couldn't find such a category on CL.
Parts:
Dave Burke - male, caucasian, in his 50s. Ex-chief of police who did 1 year in jail for contempt of court. Lives in the past as suggested by the wall of his apartment, which is decorated with past awards, plaques, and newspaper clippings. Has turned and is the orchestrator of a bank robbery plan.
Earle Slater - male, caucasian, in his 40s. Athletic, from the South. An ex-con who did time twice, once for assault with a deadly weapon, and once for manslaughter. His girlfriend makes more money than him - he can't find a decent job - and it's eating at him being kept by a woman. He's also a bit of a racist, as was common in 1959.
Johnny Ingram - male, African American, in his 30s. A fashionable man; from the South but has worked to loose all traces of his accent. Gambles on horses and has hit a bad streak lately. Owes a loan shark $7,500 and must do this bank job or his ex-wife and young daughter will be hurt by the loan shark's thugs.
Scene is between 3-5minutes in length. All actors expected to be off book by 2nd rehearsal and especially for the 1st performance.

Short Film Casting Actors in Chicago
This is a casting notice for a short film seeking actors in Chicago. We are casting for 3 male actors and 1 female actress.
